MyPertamina Supports MSMEs Go Digital at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024

Lombok, September 26, 2024 – Pertamina is leveraging the international racing event, the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 in Mandalika, to promote digitalization for its fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including MSMEs from East Lombok’s Rumah BUMN, who will be selling their products during the event. Dozens of MSMEs will utilize the MyPertamina app to facilitate transactions throughout the event.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), stated that Pertamina’s fostered MSMEs offer unique, high-quality products. During international events, MSME products, which generally consist of food, beverages, and Indonesian handicrafts, are highly sought after by the local community and tourists. "With so many consumers purchasing from these MSMEs, using MyPertamina will help simplify and speed up transactions," Fadjar explained.

Heppy Wulansari, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, added that all transactions within the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit area must use MyPertamina. “Utilizing MyPertamina will facilitate automatic sales recording and stock management for MSMEs,” she explained.

Users of the MyPertamina app will also receive a 5% discount on every transaction during the event. “This offers additional benefits for buyers and participating MSMEs,” Heppy added.

During a MyPertamina utilization socialization at the East Lombok’s Rumah BUMN on Wednesday (25/9), Agus Hartadi, the owner of Loyok Kreatif, welcomed this initiative. “Technology plays a vital role, especially in international events like this,” he said.

Loyok Kreatif is an art of bamboo craftsmanship passed down through generations in Sakra District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Agus has become one of the driving forces in Loyok’s economy, making bamboo weaving a commodity to be reckoned with in the global market.

A similar sentiment was shared by Ni Ketut Wiryaningsih, owner of UD Seribu Sukur, who also acknowledged digitalization’s benefits. “MyPertamina has greatly helped us in recording transactions and making business growth easier,” she said.

Pertamina hopes that MyPertamina will enhance local MSMEs’ competitiveness and introduce their products to the global market. To enjoy transactions’ convenience and attractive promotions, the public can easily download the MyPertamina app from the Play Store or App Store.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement.
