Jakarta, September 4, 2020 - Since Pertamina's Pertashop Development in remote areas of Indonesia started in 2019, Pertamina has received much appreciation from its customers. The benefits of the existence and sustainability of Pertashop are very beneficial, especially for people who have difficulty accessing quality fuel and when the distance from Pertamina gas stations is very far and difficult.
President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Basuki Tjahaya Purnama, and the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) greeted Pertashop customers in several areas of Indonesia as well as greeted the winner of the Berbagi Berkah MyPertamina program on this year's customer day. He won the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster motorcycle prize via live @Pertamina's Instagram.
According to Basuki, interpreting the 2020 National Customer Day, Pertamina is committed to providing affordable energy with wider distribution to rural areas continuously. Pertamina realized this determination by continuing to build Pertashop in rural areas, where petrol station services were not yet available and in potential areas for energy business development. This commitment is also supported by Call Center 135, which is a bridge for Pertamina to meet the energy needs of the community.
"Customer Satisfaction is a Performance Indicator for all Pertamina Workers. The customer is the king. Competition is already very tight, so the utilization of Call Center 135 must be optimized so that Pertamina knows the needs of its customers and can immediately fulfill it, "he added.
The President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, also said that customer satisfaction is Pertamina's need. With Pertashop, Pertamina can be closer to the community and its consumers. "We will be all over the village, at least one outlet. People do not need to go far to the petrol station. There is a Pertashop that is closer," she informed.
"Pertashop can also be used as a meeting place for the community. It can be used for local government and society. Therefore, Pertamina can provide more optimal services for the community," she added.
Pertamina's Pertashop service received a positive response from many customers, one of which is Mulyadi, a resident of Ulakan Sepakin, Padang, West Sumatra. He works as an Ojol (Online Motorcycle Taxis) and fisherman daily. Before the Pertashop existed, he bought fuel at a petrol station, which is 15 km away. Now, he can buy it at Pertashop with the same price and quality as a petrol station.
The same thing was stated by Medi, a grocer in Serang, Banten. Every two days, he refills fuel. "In the past, I bought fuel at a petrol station in Anyer with a distance of 30 km. Now I can buy it at Pertashop, which is only 500 meters from my house," he said.
Pertashop customers in Donggala, Central Sulawesi, also find it easy to get fuel after the presence of Pertashop in Lolidondo Village, which is 30 km from Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi.
Budi, a customer of Pertashop Karang Salam, Banyumas, Central Java, also expressed his appreciation for Pertamina's breakthrough in bringing fuel to rural areas. "In the past, I often bought gasoline at retailers, and it was much more expensive. When there is a Pertashop, I feel safe, calm, and happy. The quality of the goods is guaranteed safe, the distance is closer, and the price is cheaper than retailers," said the man who works as a trader.
On the same occasion, the President Commissioner and President Director greeted Wildan, 19 years old resident of Rawa Crocodile, Duri Kosambi Cengkareng. A student who works daily as an Ojol is one of the lucky ones to get a national prize in the form of a motorcycle from Pertamina.
"I am very happy to be able to get a motorcycle from Pertamina. Thanks to the Berbagi Berkah MyPertamina program, I can get gifts and Alhamdulillah it is useful for my family," he said. "Every time I buy fuel, I always use the MyPertamina application as a means of payment. Because MyPertamina always has cashback and other interesting programs," he added.
Nicke also reminded all customers to continue to take part in the Berbagi Berkah MyPertamina program. This program is a form of Pertamina's appreciation and rewards to customers who always use Pertamina's products. "We are encouraging people to use environmentally friendly fuel, as well as encouraging consumers to use the MyPertamina application, as an effort to use digital technology for payments," she added. **
