NEW! AJP PERTAMINA 2020 HAS A NEW FORMAT  

Jakarta, October 1, 2020 – Anugerah Jurnalistik Pertamina (AJP) 2020 encourages journalists' growth in regions to create quality works with stage selections and compete with journalistic works in all areas up to the national level. With this format, AJP 2020 will create a winner in each region and compete again to find a winner at a national level.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said the staged rating system's difference would allow the media people to become winners more widely and evenly.

"AJP 2020 is hoped to encourage the growth of journalistic works that has more quality in every region with appreciation that is given in stages for winners in every regions and winner at the national level," said Fajriyah

Fajriyah added, AJP 2020 is in a situation of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Therefore, the on-site media coverage is minimum, and there is potential for the work included in AJP 2020 to decrease compared to previous years. Therefore, Pertamina encourages all media people in all regions to actively participate in the AJP 2020 by giving stimuli to winners in every area.

"AJP 2020 is held during the organization restructuring period. Therefore, there are adjustments and adaptation with the new organization that relies on the publication activities of operating units and subsidiaries," added Fajriyah.

The theme of AJP 2020, added Fajriyah, is "Ketulusan Untuk Melayani" (Sincerity to Serve),  set as the company's communication theme from the beginning of 2020. From that theme, Pertamina invites the press to write information about Service, Concern, Dedication, Company Contribution, Openness, and Transparency in the development of the energy sectors, CSR, Partnership, and Empowerment programs. Through this theme, Pertamina also encourages news that reviews the use and development of energy for a better Indonesia.

AJP 2020 provides eight categories. It includes Hardnews Print Media, Feature Print Media, Online Media/Cyber, Feature Radio, Feature TV, Photo Essays, CSR/Community Empowerment Program, and Partnership Program.

To participate in the AJP 2020, the media people can fill out a form, which can be downloaded by clicking the link from Pertamina's website https://www.pertamina.com/id/anugerah-jurnalistik-pertamina-2020 or can be directly downloaded through the link https://www.pertamina.com/Media/Upload/AJP/Formulir-Peserta-AJP-2020.pdf. After filling in the registration, the participants can apply and submit their work through email anugerah.jurnalistik@pertamina.com no later than October 15, 2020.

"AJP 2020, which has been on for 18 years, is an award event for journalistic works that mass media journalists await every year, and it is hoped that it will further increase Pertamina's synergy with the media throughout Indonesia," concluded Fajriyah.**
