Jakarta, August 11, 2020 – PT Pertamina (Persero) reassures that they are always committed to contributing to moving the nation's economy through the implementation of the Government's mandate regarding the One Price Fuel program in 2020. This year, Pertamina is optimistic that they can achieve the Government's target to realize One Price Fuel in 83, 3T (Left behind, Frontier, and Outermost) Region.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, explained that through the One Price Fuel program, Pertamina forms official distributors in an isolated area. Therefore, they can provide Premium and Solar according to the Government's set price or the same as those enjoyed by people in big cities. The more affordable fuel price has an impact on reducing transportation and operational costs so that it can boost the economy of the local community and affect the prices of basic necessities.
"This is Pertamina's commitment to participate in developing the people's economy through Pertamina's strategic role in providing energy throughout the country following the principles of availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and sustainability," added Fajriyah.
Fajriyah reaffirmed that In carrying out this noble task, Pertamina does not only consider the profit aspect but the form of services for the country. Although there are many challenges, both during the construction process and during the operation of channeling agencies, Pertamina's commitment is unwavering in ensuring that all Indonesian people can enjoy energy with the same quality and price.
Therefore, Pertamina is optimistic that it can achieve this target by reflecting on last year's achievements.
"By 2019, we can reach the target of 160 points in October 2019 or 3 months sooner than the target in December 2019. Therefore, we believe that this year the target of 83 points of One Price Fuel can be achieved," she said on Monday (10/8).
She added that the 83 points target of 2020, as many as 5 distribution agencies have been operating so that the total currently operating is 165 distributors. The remaining 61 points are in the construction process, and 34 points are in the licensing process. The channeling agencies are spread across several areas such as Sumatra with 13 points, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara with 21 points, Kalimantan with 13 points, Sulawesi with 7 points, Maluku 15 points and Papua with 14 points.
"Throughout 2020, we have operated a One Price fuel distribution agency in Sigi Regency, Palolo, Central Sulawesi, while in parallel, we are also preparing for other regions," concluded Fajriyah.**
