Jakarta, November 22, 2021 - Pertamina has completed the 2021 Government's assignment targets by operating 76 points of the One Price Fueldistribution agency. The completion of fuel distribution agencies' development in the Disadvantaged, Foremost, Outermost (3T) areas in 2021 shows Pertamina's commitment and determination to work well and professionally.
"This November, all channeling institutions have been realized. We are optimistic that by the end of the year, we can still add a few more points," said VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman.
Furthermore, Fajriyah revealed that the development of One Price Fuel is part of Pertamina's commitment to realize energy justice and security in difficult-to-reach areas. The achievement of all the distribution points is certainly not easy. The pandemic is still ongoing, and the geographical conditions in the area targeted for One Price Fuel are challenging. However, Pertamina can meet the Government's assignment target before 2021 ends.
"It is inseparable from the Government's support and good coordination from various parties. It includes BPH Migas, related regional governments, Hiswana Migas to petrol station entrepreneurs," explained Fajriyah.
Since the program launch in 2017, One Price Fuel has reached 319 points in the 3 T region (Outermost, Frontier, Disadvantaged). There are 53 points in Sumatera, 5 points in Java and Bali, Nusa Tenggara 55 points, Kalimantan 67 points, Sulawesi 31 points, Maluku 45 points, and Papua 63 points.
The effort to expand One Price Fuel has now provided benefits to the people in the area who have been buying fuel for decades at inflated prices.
One Price Fuel has resulted in the community can have closer energy access, the children could study at night, and the economy began to grow. It is because fuel prices were no longer as expensive as before. It is felt by the people in Tomini Bay that have become energy independent after Pertamina built One Price Fuel in Wakai Village, Una-Una District, Tojo Una-Una Regency, an island district located in the middle of Tomini Bay.
Fishers in this area, who previously had difficulty with fuel, can now freely go to sea in Tomini Bay and have no more trouble getting fuel. One-price fuel has also supported the tourism sector, which is the mainstay of this region.
"One Price Fuel presence in our area automatically helps the community, most of whom work as fishermen," said Tojo Una-Una Regent Muhammad Lahay.
The fuel price in the Wakai and Togean Islands was previously purchased by fishing communities at varying prices. The nearest petrol station is on the mainland of Ampana City, which is 2-3 hours away by speed boat or fast boat. It has resulted in the price of fuel in the area previously averaging IDR 15,000/liter.
"We will continue to support the Government's efforts to serve energy to people that is easier, cheaper, and affordable," said Fajriyah.**
