Jakarta, September 16, 2020 – The One Village One Outlet (OVOO) Program that Pertamina initiates has accelerated the spread of 3 Kg LPG outlets to rural areas throughout Indonesia. As of August 2020, Pertamina has developed 185,210 LPG bases spread across 55,004 villages and sub-districts, or 82.5 percent of the total 66,691 villages and sub-districts. If calculated according to sub-district areas, the coverage is even wider, reaching 99.6 percent. The 3 Kg LPG bases at the sub-district level have reached 5,585 sub-districts out of a total of 5,608 sub-districts throughout Indonesia.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said Pertamina continues their commitment to expanding the range of LPG services to villages with 2 types of outlets. It includes Subsidized 3 Kg LPG Base or PSO, while Pertashop is for Bright Gas or Non-PSO LPG.
"Pertamina will continue to increase the number of 3 Kg LPG bases so that its distribution will expand to all villages in line with the kerosene-to-gas conversion program mandated by the government, targeting eastern Indonesia," said Fajriyah.
With the OVOO Program, added Fajriyah, Pertamina is targeting at least one 3 Kg LPG base available in each village. It makes it easier for people in rural areas to get clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly energy.
"Pertamina continues to boost the development of energy distribution infrastructures such as LPG depots and gas pipelines to improve supply reliability. It includes SPBBE, with priority in Eastern Indonesia," added Fajriyah.
In addition to developing a 3 Kg LPG Base, added Fajriyah, Pertamina's OVOO Program, also continues to encourage the development of Pertashop outlets for the distribution of Bright Gas, quality fuel, and Pertamina's lubricant products. Until now, 576 Pertashop outlets are ready to operate so that they can support even distribution of energy while at the same time supporting village economic growth.
Pertamina opened a partnership program for the development of Pertashop. The stages of becoming a Pertashop partner include registering through http://kemitraan.pertamina.com, continued with field verification, administration, local government requirements and land tenure, building permits in the form of designs approved by Pertamina, and the construction process. After that, there will be a cooperation contract with Pertamina for ten years so that Pertashop can operate sustainably.**
