Jakarta, November 5, 2020 - PT Pertamina (Persero) won 9 awards and dominated all winners from various categories in the BUMN Branding and Marketing Award 2020.
BUMN Branding and Marketing Award is an event held by BUMN Track supported by Arrbey Consulting, which this year has entered its 8th year with the theme "Optimizing Omni Channel on Branding and Marketing." This award aims to give appreciation to companies with superior performance and compete in the global market through branding and marketing innovations with Omni Channel optimization and a measure of business success.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto, said that after going through a series of selection processes involving 114 SOE companies and SOE Subsidiaries competed in the 8th BUMN Branding and Marketing Award 2020, Pertamina group was able to compete and excel from other companies.
Agus revealed that in the corporate category, PT Pertamina (Persero) was named The Best Brand Identity in the SOE category. As an energy company, Pertamina is considered capable of maintaining its identity.
"Pertamina also won the award as The Best Global Branding & Marketing, which is the highest award in this event. It is because Pertamina has able to become a leading company in branding & marketing as well as expanding its services and business wings nationally and globally, both through its holding company and its subsidiaries," he said.
Through various innovations made, Agus continued, several Pertamina Subsidiaries also managed to bring home awards at this event. It includes PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental as The Best Trans Archipelago for the SOE Subsidiary category, PT Lubricants as The Best Brand Communication, and The Best Global Branding and Marketing Strategy for the SOE Subsidiary category. PT Pertamina Gas Negara, Tbk, won the Best Brand Communication award for the SOE and SOE Tbk Subsidiary category.
Also, several names of the Directors of Pertamina's Subsidiaries have further strengthened Pertamina's dominance of victory in the event, which won the title of The Best CMO Branding and Marketing Award in the category of Subsidiaries and the category of SOE & Subsidiary Tbk. It includes Fariz Aziz, Commercial Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk as the winner of The Best Creative Marketing Initiative, Andria Nusa, who served as Director of Sales and Marketing of PT Pertamina Lubricants as the winner of The Best International Marketing. Arsono Kuswardanu, the Marketing Director of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental as the winner of The Best Marketing Teamwork.
