Pertamina Advocates Collaboration for Sustainability & Business Development Through Business Unit

Jakarta, March 9, 2024 - Under the theme "New Spirit Towards the Highest Level," one of Pertamina's business units, PT Nusantara Regas (NR), held an offline Town Hall Meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday (05/03). Attended by the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and all employees, the event aims to review Nusantara Regas' achievements in 2023 and the 2024 strategies, aligning the vision and mission of all employees to maintain sustainability and development.

Throughout 2023, Nusantara Regas served 32 cargoes and distributed 89.54 million MMBtu of gas, generating revenues of USD 81 million. "This year, we will speed up the business expansion of LNG utilization. We project the need for FSRU to meet LNG demand in Papua by 2027, bunkering and break bulking, while supporting LNG infrastructure for retail," explained the President Director of Nusantara Regas, Iskandar Mirza.

From 2011 to 2023, Nusantara Regas successfully maintained 12.5 million safe work hours with a commitment to disciplined HSSE implementation. "Besides satisfying financial performance, we are proud of the professional HSSE aspects implementation in Nusantara Regas. We will support achieving even more satisfying results in 2024. Keep up the motivation and consolidation," said the Commissioner of NR, Yudi Yudhawan.

During the event, the new Nusantara Regas logo, officially changed in December 2023, was introduced. "The launch of the new NR logo holds significant meaning, strengthening NR's identity as a Pertamina affiliate and a strategy to gain trust from business partners and investors, thus propelling NR's business development," Mirza added.

Various external awards in the fields of HSSE, CSR, and Risk Management were also achieved by NR during 2023. In recognition of these achievements, the Board of Directors appreciates the award-winning divisions and those actively implementing AKHLAK. At the end of the event, participants engaged in various employee competitions to foster unity within the Company.

Nusantara Regas is an affiliate of PT Pertamina (Persero), jointly established with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, tasked with operating the Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) in West Java's waters in the Jakarta Bay and the Onshore Receiving Facility in Muara Karang. The facility receives and processes LNG into electricity supply plays a vital role in Jakarta and West Java.**
