Pertamina Energy Webinar 2021: Energizing Your Future

Jakarta, December 5, 2021 - PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to affirm its commitment to fulfilling energy for Indonesia's future. This is realized by various energy transition agendas that are able to increase the use of new and renewable energy in the future.

This commitment is going to be reiterated at the Pertamina Energy Webinar (PEW) event as an Energy Outlook with Energizing Your Future theme, that will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Vice President Corporate Communications of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fajriyah Usman explained, the Energy Webinar is an annual event as well as a series of Pertamina's 64th Birthday which is on December 10, 2021.

The event will take place virtually and will be opened by the Director of Strategy, Portfolio, and Business Development of PT Pertamina (Persero), Iman Rachman.

With the Energizing Your Future theme, PEW will present speakers who are divided into three discussion panels. The first Discussion Panel's topic is about Business Innovation and Technology Leadership with Dr. Ego Syahrial (Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources), Jonathan Smith (Manager of ESG Research Sustainalytics), and Dr Hery Haerudin (VP Pertamina Institute).

In the second discussion panel, the speakers will be Joko Widi Wijayanto (Director of Business Planning and Development of PT Kilang Pertamina International), Jaffee Arizon Suardin (President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan), and M Haryo Yunianto (President Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk), which will discuss the topic of Technology Leadership to Accelerate Energy Transitions.

The third session of the discussion panel will feature speakers Mia Krisna Anggraini (VP New Venture PT Pertamina (Persero)), Alfian Nasution (President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga), Erry Widiastono (President Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping), and Dannif Danusaputro (President Director of PT Pertamina Power Indonesia) which will discuss the topic of Facing The Challenges of Energy Transition Through Business Model Innovation.

Moreover, PEW will present guest speaker Stephen Jones as Development Planner for ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solution Company Global CCS Projects who will specifically explain CCS/CCUS Implementation Strategy in Low Carbon Future.

Fajriyah added, as in previous years, the event is open to the public and will be attended by various stakeholders both from within and outside the country, ranging from regulators, businessmen, observers, academics, and students.
