Pertamina Ensures All Subholdings and Affiliated Companies Are Ready to Serve Energy Needs During Eid Holiday

Jakarta, March 27, 2024 - In anticipation of the Eid holiday and homecoming, Pertamina has launched the Ramadan and Eid Task Force (RAFI) 1445 H/2024 M, operating from March 25 to April 21, 2024. During this period, Pertamina ensures that all sub-holdings and affiliated companies are prepared to serve energy needs throughout Indonesia.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that all Pertamina subsidiaries, from upstream to downstream operations, are ready to support the success of the 2024 RAFI Task Force.

"We have just kicked off the RAFI Task Force on March 25, 2024. The RAFI Task Force aims to ensure fuel, LPG, and Avtur supplies availability throughout Indonesia," said Fadjar during the "Energi Kebersamaan Buka Bersama Media" Media Mass event at Al Jazeerah Signature, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (27/3).

Fadjar outlined the readiness of each Pertamina Subholding and Affiliate to face the homecoming and return flow of the Eid holiday.

In the upstream sector, through PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, oil and gas production is continuously maintained from the four managed regions spread across Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Eastern Indonesia, as well as 13 zones overseas.

In total, Pertamina's oil and gas production has surpassed one million barrels equivalent. This upstream assurance directly contributes to ensuring the security of fuel and LPG production supplies.

In the refining sector, continuous refinery optimization is carried out by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional. Pertamina has secured crude oil stocks and optimized processing capacity. Overall, the refinery processing capacity is sufficient to fulfill the needs during the Ramadan and Eid periods.

In terms of crude oil and fuel transportation, managed by PT Pertamina International Shipping, Pertamina has prepared 318 tanker ships and an additional eight buffer vessels during the 2024 RAFI Task Force period.

The forefront of Pertamina's downstream business, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, is ready to secure national stocks of both fuel and LPG products during the Eid holiday period. Throughout the RAFI Task Force period, Pertamina has deployed thousands of 24-hour standby petrol stations, Pertamina Standby Kiosks, Motorists, Standby Tanker Trucks, LPG Standby Agents, and Pertamina Service Points.

Gas services through PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk are also on standby to ensure the reliability and distribution of natural gas sectors safely and optimally during the 2024 RAFI period, including the readiness of Household Gas Network (Jargas) customers.

In addition to sub-holdings, Pertamina, through its subsidiaries, also strives to provide optimal services in air transportation, accommodation, and healthcare.

Through Pelita Air, Pertamina will assist travelers to various destinations. Pelita Air has opened 12 flight routes to major cities. Pelita Air has even opened a new route from Jakarta to Aceh, which will commence operations on April 3, 2024. Pelita Air has also increased flight schedules for the Surabaya - Balikpapan route to expand access to IKN.

During the holiday, promotions are also offered by Patra Jasa, which operates in property and hospitality. Patra Jasa offers various attractive promotions during Eid at nine hotels under its management, ranging from Parapat, Bandung, Semarang, Malioboro, Bali, and others.

In terms of healthcare services, Pertamedika IHC is on standby to provide 24-hour healthcare services during the Task Force period. All hospitals under Pertamedika IHC are ready to provide healthcare services from Sumatra to Sorong, Papua. Pertamedika IHC also prepares Health Posts at rest areas to provide healthcare services for travelers.

Fadjar explained that Pertamina is committed to maintaining national energy resilience, focusing on managing conventional oil and natural gas energies while developing energy transition programs that promote green energy.
