Jakarta, December 20, 2023 - Pertamina guarantees energy availability in Sumatera during Christmas and New Year (Nataru) festivities by forming the Nataru Task Force, operating 24/7 to ensure smooth energy distribution in Sumatera.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga has already established the Nataru Task Force team from December 15, 2023, to January 7, 2024," said the Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Freddy Anwar, during the Press Conference on the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year Task Force in Medan on Monday (18/12).
He explained that for the Sumbagut region (Aceh, North Sumatera, Riau, Riau Islands, and West Sumatera), an average increase of 11 percent is projected in Gasoline consumption (Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo) during the Nataru Task Force period. Meanwhile, a 2 percent decrease is expected for Gasoil (Biosolar, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex), and LPG distribution is estimated to increase by 2 percent. This increase is compared to the average distribution in October 2023.
An increase in Sumbagsel is expected by approximately 1.5% for Gasoline and 0.5% for Gasoil.
During the Nataru Task Force, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has provided special fuel services in potential routes, including toll roads, tourist routes, and main routes in the Sumatra region.
In Sumbagut, Pertamina has deployed 359 Alert Petrol Stations (SPBU Siaga), 25 motorcycles, 38 standby tankers (Pocket Petrol Stations/SPBU Kantong), and seven health posts. Including Special LPG services in the form of 701 PSO Alert LPG agents, 156 NPSO Alert LPG agents, 35,675 PSO Alert LPG depots, 5,483 NPSO Alert LPG depots, and 81 PSO/NPSO Alert LPG LPG plants.
In Sumbagsel, Pertamina has prepared infrastructure and facilities, including 10 Fuel Terminals, 2 LPG Terminals, 675 Petrol Stations (SPBU), 61 LPG Plants (SPBE), 502 LPG Agents, and 6 Distribution Points (DPPU).
Pertamina also provides additional fuel services on potential routes, including toll roads, tourist routes, and main routes, with 81 Alert Petrol Stations, 5,540 Alert LPG Depot Outlets, 7 Pertamina Alert Kiosks, and 15 Motorists.
"During the Nataru Task Force period, we want to ensure that stock resilience is in a safe condition so that distribution is not disrupted and the public can travel comfortably and safely during the Christmas and New Year holidays," said Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel, Zibali Hisbul.
Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina has coordinated with the government, other SOEs, the military (TNI), and the police (Polri) to ensure smooth energy distribution during Nataru.
