Pertamina Group Achieves AA Leadership Accolade at ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards

Jakarta, November 30, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) received the "AA Leadership Accolade" award at the annual "ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards 2023," organized by the Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation and Investortrust.id at Thamrin Nine Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/11/2023).

Besides Pertamina Holding, several subsidiaries, namely PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), also received the AA Leadership Accolade.

BGK Foundation is a Community Member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and a supporting Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) member, consisting of experts with international certifications in the ESG field.

Deni Daruri, Founder of Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation, expressed that the ESG Disclosure Transparency Award 2023 is an award for Indonesian companies' achievements in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) disclosure.

Nelwin Aldriansyah, Finance Director of Pertamina Geothermal Energy, similary expressed ESG is not just a slogan but must be implemented by companies, including PGE.

We remain committed to developing renewable energy in Indonesia to support the Indonesian Government in achieving Net Zero Carbon Emission by 2060," he concluded.

The award has various categories of Accolades. Such as Commitment categories C, CC, and CCC; Management categories B, BB, and BBB; and Leadership rankings A, AA, and AAA.

The award assessment methodology involves calculating ESG disclosure scores through Sustainability Reporting analysis to determine the level of ESG transparency.
