Pertamina Group Distributes Aid to Victims of Cold Lava and Landslides in West Sumatera
Jakarta, May 26, 2024 - Pertamina Group has distributed aid to victims of cold lava and landslides in West Sumatera. The aid was delivered through the Pertamina Peduli Post in Agam Regency and Tanah Datar Regency.
The aid provided includes equipment for refugees, staple foods, eating and bathing utensils, hygiene kits, health packages, public kitchens, vitamins, and school supplies.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, stated that the aid distributed consists of essential items that are urgently needed by the refugees during the emergency response period.
"Pertamina Peduli remains committed to delivering aid to alleviate the suffering of our brothers and sisters in West Sumatera who are facing this disaster," said Fadjar.
Fadjar added that Pertamina will continue to coordinate with various agencies and institutions in West Sumatera to ensure the refugees’ needs are fulfilled.
"Pertamina will continue to monitor the development of the refugees and provide aid according to the needs in the field," added Fadjar.
Pertamina will also ensure that the energy needs of the community, including fuel and LPG, are well met.
