Balikpapan, April 4, 2022 - Pertalite fuel oil is currently in the spotlight after Pertamax prices adjustment following the condition of world crude oil prices which continued to soar, on April 1, 2022. In response to this, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, through Regional Kalimantan, ensured the availability of Pertalite supply in its operational area.
Communication & CSR Kalimantan Region Area Manager, Susanto August Satria, stated that the community does not need to worry about the availability of Pertalite fuel supply. "Today's Pertalite stock (4/4) is around 55,879 KL, very sufficient to fulfill Kalimantan people's needs for the next ten days, and stock strengthening is carried out periodically. Thus, the Pertalite supply will always be sufficient," he explained.
Currently, the distribution process in the field is in good and conducive condition. Every day Pertamina routinely sends Pertalite supplies from the fuel terminal to each petrol station in the Kalimantan area. "People do not need to worry. The Pertalite supply is safe and sufficient. However, sometimes due to the long distance between the fuel terminals and the distribution agency, the travel time is longer,” said Satria while emphasizing that the Pertalite price did not increase, in line with the change in the price of Pertamax. He ensured that the selling price of Pertalite remained at IDR 7,650 per liter.
Satria urges the public to use fuel according to the specifications of their vehicle, use a minimum of 92 Eco-friendly fuels, and buy according to their needs. "Do not buy excessively, especially since world oil prices are still showing an increasing trend," he said.
"We hope that people who use modern vehicles use Pertamax Series quality fuel because at least RON 92 fuel is better for your vehicle," stated Satria.
