Pertamina Held Journalistic Award 2017
Jakarta – PT Pertamina Persero, State-Owned Enterprises in integrated energy sector, for the 16th time held Journalistic Award (AJP) in 2017. This year’s AJP entitled “Pertamina Exist to Realize Defense, Justice, And Energy Equity in Indonesia.”
Aditiama Sarjito, Vice President Corporate Communication Pertamina, said that AJP Pertamina’s commitment to put the press as a strategic partner in supporting the company’s progress, by producing educative public opinion toward Pertamina’s business activities and corporate performance, and also build public transparency culture. Furthermore, AJP is the form of appreciation to all press individual who has dedicated and presented their best journalistic work accurately, factually, informatively, and inspiring.
“We hope that, AJP Year 2017 will be a means of motivation for professional journalistic in conveying information and education for the public comprehensively, based on the fact and data accuracy, proportional, and also forward-looking,” He said.
AJP Year 2017 is projected to be followed by more than 6.000 works from printed, online, TV photo, and radio journalist. The category of the works which are competed are printed media hardnews, printed media feature, online/cyber media, radio feature, TV feature, photo essay, jury’s choice photo, Pertamina sport publication, CSR publication, best of the best, and special citizen journalism category. “Citizen journalism category is first included in this year’s AJP. This new category is expected to be able to accommodate various piece of writings regarding Pertamina’s activity from wider perspective.” He said.
The works which can be applied in AJP Year 2017 are the works which have been published in November 1, 2016-October 31, 2017 period. The jury which will assess the works from the participants came from energy observer, academics, and senior journalist.
AJP Year 2017 committee will pronounce the winner which will be held in the award event, in the AJP night along with award to each winner. AJP Year 2017 award will be given to each category and with 8 chosen nominators within each category the first winner, second winner, and third winner, favorite photo, and grand prize. “Other than receiving a trophy and some money. As a means of appreciation for the best of the best, will be given the grand prize in the form of scholarship to take a short journalistic course in prestigious place in London,” He said.
