Jakarta, April 22, 2022 - As a world-class energy company that continues to implement integrated ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), Pertamina Group is committed to creating a corporate environment that upholds gender equality, free from discrimination, and free from violence and harassment.
In Kartini's commemoration, which is also the anniversary of Pertiwi Pertamina, Finance Director of Pertamina, Emma Sri Martini said Pertamina has established a sustainability policy to create a global energy company that is environmentally friendly, socially responsible (Societal Responsible Company), and has good corporate governance (Good Governance Company).
Emma said that Pertamina continues to carry out various initiatives to encourage changes in systems and practices that can improve gender equality, especially women leadership and women empowerment at Pertamina.

"With the support and high commitment from the Minister of SOEs, the respectful workplace policy initiative initially carried out at Pertamina can finally be scaled up with the issuance of a Circular Letter from the Minister of SOEs regarding the Respectful Workplace Policy in SOEs," added Emma.
Emma added that the Respectful Workplace Policy in SOE will cover up to almost 1 million workers in the SOE environment.
Pertamina's officers come from various ethnic groups, races, and religions who represent extraordinary diversity and can form a strong unity. As a company committed to implement ESG, the corporate sustainability principle that upholds mutual respect and fairness is very important.
Pertamina has established the "Handbook for A Respectful Workplace" as the company's guide in creating a work environment that is free of discrimination and more inclusive for company's sustainability in the future.**
