Jakarta, July 28, 2024 - The Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit witnessed the triumph of six Indonesian champions on the first day of the Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2024 Indonesia Round, held on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina fully supports the international ARRC 2024 race, which features many Indonesian riders.
"Pertamina supports and is proud of the achievements of Indonesian riders who have recorded victories at Indonesia's prestigious circuit," said Fadjar.
The six Indonesian riders who achieved podium positions include Fahmi Basam, who won first place, and Ricky Ibrahim, who secured third place in the UB150 class. Reynaldo C. Ratukore took second place, and M. Faerozi Toreqottullah took third place in the AP250 class, followed by Mohammad Adenanta Putra, who won first place in the SS600 class, and Andi Farid Izdihar, who won first place in the ASB1000 class.
As a state-owned enterprise, Fadjar added that Pertamina supports Indonesia in hosting international events, as they positively impact the national and regional economy.
"Every international event creates a multiplier effect for the domestic industry, including MSMEs," Fadjar added.
Moreover, the third day or the second race of the ARRC 2024 Indonesian Round, scheduled for Sunday, July 28, will feature a cultural performance presented by the Regional Tourism Promotion Agency (BPPD) of NTB to enliven the Grid Ceremony.
"The Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is not only a world-class racing venue but also a hub for promoting Indonesia's top tourist destinations," Fadjar emphasized.
