A total of 150 Pertamina's Rumah BUMN (RB) Fostered MSMEs were included in the event.

Acting Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Heppy Wulansari, explained that the Indonesia Digital Trade Show in Conjunction with Indonesia Local Brands Expo is the right place to accelerate the process of digitizing MSME products. Therefore, it can maximize sales and compete in the national market or the international market.

"This event is following Pertamina's MSME development roadmap, namely Go Modern, Go Digital, Go Online, and Go Global, where one of the stages, namely Go Digital, is very relevant to the activities being held today," explained Heppy.

Moreover, during this pandemic, the Partnership Program and Pertamina's RB organized around 160 pieces of digital format training. About 50 training materials were given on the theme of digital-based business development. It is done so that the fostered MSMEs can get used to the times and digital literacy.

The participants selected to take part in this event have been strictly curated by Pertamina. Of the approximately 8000 MSMEs scattered in 29 points of RB Pertamina, 150 MSMEs were selected based on several criteria. Such as product quality, the readiness of MSMEs to meet consumer and market demands regarding virtual platforms, product stocks, and product safety for public consumption.

"Food and beverage products are quite dominant compared to other sectors. Because, during a pandemic like this, the demand for food and beverage products is quite high. Especially for herbal products," she explained. Apart from the culinary sector, there are also MSMEs from the fashion and craft sector.

This exhibition, continued Heppy, was held virtually with a digital & realistic concept (3D Online Exhibition). Therefore, people can choose the product they like just by visiting the virtual booth provided.
