Pertamina Patra Niaga Ensures Subsidized Fuel Stock Availability for the Community

Jakarta, September 3, 2022 – As a business entity or operator assigned to distribute subsidized fuel, Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to ensure Pertalite and Solar stock availability, as well as the distribution process to petrol stations running optimally amid the increasing public consumption.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting, continued, in addition to increasing consumption, he said that maintaining the stock and distribution of Pertalite and Solar is very important considering that currently, consumption is around 85% of the total national fuel consumption.

"Currently, the condition is a combination. Namely an increase of the community's average daily consumption and a high share of Pertalite and Solar consumption nationally. This enormous need must be balanced with its availability, and Pertamina is committed to continuing to fulfill this need,” explained Irto.

Irto said that Pertalite and Solar stock on September 2 was at a sufficient level. Pertalite was at the 18-day level, Solar was at the 20-day level, and continues to be produced. The production process from downstream to the fuel stocks availability at petrol stations is also continuously monitored through the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Center Command (PIEDCC) in real-time.

"Through PIEDCC, Pertamina can take appropriate steps to ensure fuel stocks availability up to petrol stations. For example, if the stock at one petrol station is running low, we can divert distribution and make the petrol station a priority. Therefore, people do not have to worry, and we urge not to over-purchase," he said.

On this occasion, Irto also appealed that Pertalite and Solar, which are subsidized fuels, be consumed by entitled people. Therefore, Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to cooperate with the community, the Government, and all related parties in Pertalite and Solar supervision.

“We hope Pertalite and Solar are consumed by people who need it. If people see any abuse or fraud, they can report it directly to the authorities," added Irto.
