Pertamina Patra Niaga Prepares to Fulfill Energy Needs During Christmas and New Year

Jakarta, December 9, 2021 – Welcoming Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 holidays, Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero), ensures sufficient stock conditions and energy distribution. Alfian Nasution, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga SH C&T, said that Christmas and New Year had become one of the periods when Pertamina ensured that all energy demands were met.

"Welcoming the Christmas and New Year, we make sure the national stock is sufficient. As of December 7, the average stock resilience for all fuel oil products is above 19 days, LPG at above 14 days, and Avtur at 35 days. We also monitor the distribution process through the Pertamina Integrated Command Center (PICC) and the petrol station digitization dashboard. We have also reactivated the Christmas and New Year task force (Satgas Naru) to ensure that all energy needs of the community are met," explained Alfian.

Pertamina Patra Niaga has also calculated the projected increase in public energy consumption during the Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 holidays. There will be an increase in demand of around +6.2% for Gasoline, +2.7% for Gasoil (diesel), +3 % for LPG, and +24% for Avtur compared to October.

In anticipation of this projection, Pertamina Patra Niaga has made several anticipations. It includes 114 Fuel terminals, 23 LPG terminals, 68 Aircraft Filling Depots (DPPU), more than 7,400 petrol stations, and the entire LPG distribution chain starting from LPG Filling Stations (SPBBE) to LPG agents and bases, both subsidized and non-subsidized. 

In addition, Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared additional services and facilities. There will be at least 1,077 standby petrol stations on the regular route, 63 standby petrol stations on the toll road, 218 motorists or the Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) fleet, 144 petrol fuel bag points, 34 units of Pertashop or modular gas stations, and more than 48 thousand agents and bases. LPG Siaga, services at 68 DPPU, will also be on standby to meet Avtur's needs for all airlines. In addition to operations, Pertamina Patra Niaga also provides antigen services at 25 petrol stations.

In addition to regular operations, we have also prepared additional services as anticipation, especially in the routes and areas with the highest projected increase in consumption. It includes areas celebrating Christmas, New Year, tourist attractions, main traffic routes, and disaster-prone areas. In addition to operations, we have also prepared antigen services, non-cash payment services through MyPertamina, and ensured that all Pertamina facilities comply with health protocols," added Alfian.

Consumers can also exchange cylinders to Bright Gas, non-fuel retail (NFR) service promos at several Bright Store outlets, as well as special promos for the purchase of Fastron and Enduro.

Pertamina Patra Niaga also conducts numerous coordinations to ensure the delivery of fuel, LPG, and Avtur.
