Jakarta, March 5, 2023 - Several Pertamina Peduli Volunteers held a social assistance (trauma healing) activity for evacuees who were victims of the Plumpang TBBM incident, especially children at the Rawa Badak Selatan Village Health Center post, Koja, North Jakarta, Saturday (4/3).
The activity was carried out around 18.00 to 19.30 WIB. The children, aged 3 to 11 years, were invited to play together by Pertamina Peduli Officers in the command post tent.
One of the Pertamina Peduli Officers, Prihatiningsih, explained that this activity aims to relieve trauma and sadness for children. "We played together, sang together so that the children could be happy and relaxed after the incident that occurred last Friday night," said Pri.
Furthermore, Pri hopes this trauma-healing activity can help refugees, especially children.
“They should have enough playing time so that their growth and development are not disturbed. We hope that this simple assistance can reduce or even eliminate the bad psychological impact on children," she added.
Pri added that Pertamina Peduli Volunteer Officers is ready to be available when needed in a crisis, to support the victims' recovery.
"We are here alternately helping the victims. We are ready at any time if needed in disaster crisis occurrence," said Pri.
Ade Barkah, who is also a Pertamina Peduli Volunteer Officer, said that the activities carried out by Pertamina in dealing with disaster victims had started yesterday.
"For trauma healing, it just started today, while we have been carrying out incident handling activities since yesterday," said Ade.
In the future, during the assistance-providing and post-incident recovery process, Pertamina Peduli Volunteers will continue to actively participate in every activity carried out by the company.**
