Jakarta, April 1, 2024 - As the peak of Eid al-Fitr 2024 approaches, the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas RAFI) ensures that all facilities and infrastructure (Sarfas) operated by Pertamina's subsidiaries are ready to serve the community heading to their respective destinations.
For fuel, LPG, and Avtur distribution, Pertamina, through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, has operated 115 Fuel Terminals, 30 LPG Terminals, and 71 Aircraft Refueling Depots (DPPUs). Additionally, more than 7,400 Petrol Stations, 723 LPG Filling Stations (SPBE), and 48,207 LPG Agents/Outlets have distributed energy to the public.
To anticipate the increased energy consumption before the long Eid al-Fitr 1445 H holiday, Pertamina has prepared additional Sarfas, including 1,792 24-hour Emergency Petrol Stations (SPBU Siaga), 5,027 24-hour Emergency LPG Agents, 200 Standby Tanker Trucks, 61 Pertamina Emergency Kiosks, 54 Motorists, and 281 Pertamina Delivery Services.

M.T Haryono petrol station in South Jakarta, on Monday, April 1, 2024. According to him, following the focus of Satgas RAFI 2024, from April 1 to April 21, Pertamina is providing additional services in areas along the homecoming routes, tourist areas, flood-prone areas, and disaster-prone areas.
"All facilities and infrastructure, including terminals, DPPUs, and petrol stations, both existing and additional Sarfas, are operational and ready to serve millions of travelers who will spend their vacation time with family," said Fadjar.
Fadjar further stated that not only in urban areas but also in remote areas, Pertamina is anticipating supply constraints due to extreme weather conditions, such as in island regions, by building up fuel stocks since D-14 at petrol stations and LPG stocks at agents or depots. Moreover, additional tanks or modular units have been prepared at existing petrol stations in remote areas or small islands.
"We are also intensifying communication with the local governments, as well as cooperation with the Navy to assist naval vessels for fuel/LPG transportation to anticipate extreme weather conditions, along with 24-hour Call Center service 135," he added.
Furthermore, Fadjar mentioned that all Pertamina Subholding companies participating in Satgas RAFI 2024 ensure that operations are ready to support the company in welcoming the Eid homecoming and return flow this year.
In the upstream sector, through PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, Pertamina's oil and gas production for the March-April period is projected to increase. In April 2024, oil production is projected to reach 411 MBOPD and gas 2,462 MMSCFD. Pertamina is fully committed to maintaining oil and gas supplies to ensure domestic refinery supply.
In the processing sector, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional ensures crude oil stocks with a volume of 25.5 days and processing capacity reaching 908 thousand barrels per day.
In the crude oil, fuel, and LPG transportation overseen by PT Pertamina International Shipping, Pertamina has mobilized 318 tanker vessels and an additional eight buffer vessels during the Satgas RAFI 2024 period. Of these, 56 percent are for fuel transportation, 15 percent for LPG, and the rest for the transportation of petrochemical products and other products.
Through Pertamina Gas Negara, the Gas Subholding also ensures household gas network operations reliability, including Pertamina New and Renewable Energy Subholding, which is ready to supply electricity from renewable energy sources.
Pertamina, through its subsidiaries such as Pelita Air, has also prepared its eleven fleets to be ready for operation. Pertamina Bina Medika IHC also provides 24-hour health services through its hospital network. Patra Jasa, as a subsidiary in the accommodation sector, has also prepared hotels in various areas that can be utilized by people who want to vacation.
"Subholding and Subsidiaries carry out their respective roles and functions so that the 2024 homecoming runs smoothly and safely," he added.
To monitor the energy distribution process in real-time across Indonesia, Pertamina utilizes digital technology controlled through the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC).
"Through the Command Centre, we also ensure that upstream operations, processing, transportation, all services, and fuel stocks are safe and sufficient for the community’s needs during homecoming and return flows," concluded Fadjar.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement.
