Jakarta, April 11, 2021 - Pertashop, which was established in 2018, has continued to developed, not only partnering with the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2020 but also the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration as well as the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KemenkopUKM). In 2021, Pertashop also collaborates with Islamic boarding schools to support and provide economic independence.

Erick Thohir, The Minister of SOE as the Chair of the Sharia Economic Community accompanied by the Head of the Oil and Gas Downstream Regulatory Agency (BPH), Fanshurullah Asa, and the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, inaugurated Pertashop at Nurul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Karang Pucung, Cilacap Regency on Sunday (11/4). It was also attended and witnessed by the Presidential Advisory Council, Habib Muhammad Luthfi Bin Yahya.

According to Erick, the presence of Pertashop in Islamic boarding schools will stimulate the economy and jobs creation. "There are two main issues that we need to address together during the pandemic, namely economic equity and job creation. I want to thank the President Director of Pertamina who has initiated the Pertashop program at the Islamic Boarding Schools with the support of BPH Migas. Therefore, the economy becomes strong, and the national foundation continues," he said.

President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, said that Pertashop is the only official small-scale fuel distributor from Pertamina, a continuation of Pertamina's MoU and the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2020.

"We plan to have one outlet in every village in 73 thousand villages in Indonesia. And this year, we are targeting to build 10,000 Pertashop outlets," said Nicke.

According to Nicke, the Pertashop Program is also in line with Pertamina's responsibility as SOE to become the driving force for the community's economy, especially in the regions.

"We are currently working with Islamic Boarding Schools to support their economic independence. This will also help people get environmentally friendly fuel at the same price as petrol stations," added Nicke.

Nicke also expects that local entrepreneurs can participate in the success of the Pertashop Program. Therefore, Pertashop will be built in each village in line with the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) Program.

Currently, 1,112 Pertashop units have been operating throughout Indonesia, and for 2021, 10 thousand Pertashop is targeted to operate. In the Central Java region, there are nearly 200 Pertashop units ready to serve the community's energy needs. Until 2024, Pertamina targets to build 40 thousand Pertashops.

All information and registration for the Pertashop partnership can be found through ptm.id/MitraPertashop. The main requirement consists of two (2) criteria, the Requirements Administration Criteria and the Location Criteria.

There are three (3) types of cooperation offered, Gold (210 m² 3 Kilo Liter tank capacity), Platinum (300 m² 10 KL tank capacity), and Diamond (500 m² 10 KL tank capacity). Non-fuel retail (NFR) business facilities, such as credit agents, grocery stores, mini markets, cafes/restaurants, workshops, and other derivative businesses, are affected by the land area.

"Equitable energy distribution is the task and mandate of the Government through Pertamina, which can be achieved more quickly and precisely. On the other hand, we will mobilize and improve the economic independence of the community and the region," concluded Nicke.**
