Jakarta, May 30, 2024 - PT Pertamina Retail held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) for the 2023 fiscal year in Jakarta on Wednesday (29/05). The event was attended by the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Pertamina Retail and the shareholders, namely PT Pertamina Patra Niaga as the Majority Shareholder represented by the Director of Regional Marketing, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, and PT Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia as the Minority Shareholder represented by Rahmi Amini.
The Acting President Director of PT Pertamina Retail, Fedy Alberto, explained that throughout 2023, PT Pertamina Retail successfully recorded positive financial performance, posting revenues of IDR 24.36 trillion with a net profit of IDR 162.68 billion. Revenue in 2023 increased by 22% from the previous year's achievement, driven by business expansion and improved services in Fuel Retail and Non-Fuel Retail (NFR).
"In its operational performance, PT Pertamina Retail has successfully recorded an increase in total fuel sales (Fuel Retail) in the form of Gasoil, Gasoline, and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), amounting to IDR 23.83 trillion, an increase of 22% compared to 2022. In the NFR sector, PT Pertamina Retail succeeded in recording revenues of IDR 524.98 billion, an increase of 32% compared to 2022," explained Fedy.
PT Pertamina Retail's total revenue increase was supported by the development and addition of outlets across its various services. In the Fuel Retail sector, there was a 17% increase in petrol station outlets, reaching 266 units, 167 of which are Green Energy Station petrol stations, and 40 of which are electric vehicle infrastructure units. In the NFR sector, the Bright Store outlets increased by 126%, reaching 443 outlets.
This positive performance was also supported by the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs implementation, which supports competitive human resources development and environmental preservation. "There are 12 main TJSL programs in education, health, community empowerment, and social. Some of these programs have received national awards," added Fedy.
The President Commissioner of PT Pertamina Retail, Chrisnawan Anditya, appreciated PT Pertamina Retail’s excellent achievements throughout 2023. "This is due to the implementation of the reinforcing resilience strategy in various aspects, ranging from improving the quality of human resources to the operational management by all personnel," he said.
In the assessment of the company's health level conducted by the General Accounting of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pertamina Retail was classified as Healthy A with a score of 76. This assessment covered aspects of financial performance, operational performance, and administrative performance.
