Jakarta, November 8, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero)'s commitment in making its fostered partners into upgraded Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSE) is increasingly massive. Evidently, through the Rumah BUMN (RB), Pertamina has held a Bootcamp and Training of Trainer (ToT) program which started on Friday (29/10). Dozens of RB facilitators from 30 regions in Indonesia joined the program.
The opening of the event was held virtually and was opened directly by the Manager of SMEPP Pertamina, Rudi Ariffianto. The event is planned to last for 2 months until December 2021. Reliable presenters will be prepared to accompany the participants during the event.
Acting Vice President of Corporate Communications of Pertamina, Heppy Wulansari added, currently there are 2 business facilitators who coach hundreds of fostered partners in every RB managed by Pertamina. Therefore, the total number of participants in the program is 60 people.
“All of them will be given the opportunity to attend the coaching at the Bootcamp. However, there are only 10 best facilitators who will later proceed to the ToT and get a reward in the form of an MSME assistance certification from the BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency)," She said.
According to Heppy, this program is also structured to support the Government's efforts in increasing the economic class of MSMEs. Through increasing the competence of Pertamina's RB Business Facilitators in guiding the assisted MSMEs in each region. Therefore, we need a program that is specifically designed to improve soft and hard skills in terms of increasing self-confidence and ability as a coach.
Currently, RB Pertamina has fostered more than 9,500 MSEs throughout Indonesia. Whereas a total of 2,171 MSEs were recorded to have onboarding an online store or marketplace. Through assistance by more reliable facilitators, it is expected that sales targets in the marketplace can continue to grow.
This Bootcamp and ToT program is the result of Pertamina's collaboration with Rumah BUMN, PT Pertamina Training and Consulting (PTC), and dbrandcom. Heppy hopes that this activity will produce reliable and qualified RB supervisors (SPV). “So it is not only the fostered partners who upgrade, the coach, in this case, SPV RB can also upgrade,” She said.
According to Heppy, through Rumah BUMN, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy--energy that fuels and energy that produces sustainable growth. Pertamina continues to encourage each partner to become upgraded and Go Global MSEs.
Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) achievement by implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all its operational areas. It is part of the Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) to realize economic benefits in the community.**
