Jakarta, August 6, 2020 – Pinky Movement Pertamina partnership program has successfully received International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Indonesia awards in ICSB Indonesia Presidential Award 2020. This award was received directly by VP CSR & SMEPP PT Pertamina (Persero), Arya Dwi Paramita on Thursday, August 6th 2020.
International Council for Small Business (ICSB) of Indonesia is a non-profit organization engaging in the field of the empowerment of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which also focuses on entrepreneurship. ICSB Indonesia is a part of ICSB, the first global organization which focuses on the growth and education of small business enterprises across the world.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman said, Pinky Movement is a business capital loan program for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of LPG outlets to develop their business by selling non-subsidized LPG. It also subsidized MSME LPG users who want to switch to using non-subsidized LPG. Since this program was implemented, the Pinky Movement Program has targeted at least 2000 outlets and 100 small businesses that use subsidized LPG. As of today, the value of distribution of the pinky movement program has reached IDR 14.11 billion.
According to Fajriyah, besides financing, fostered MSMEs will also receive guidance in the form of training and certification assistance that is needed. The aim for this guidance is to improve the MSMEs. Therefore, they have better competence, improve their business, and overall the business can upgrade
“Pinky Movement aims to improve MSMEs capabilities through business capital loans, accelerate UMKM competence through training, and educating MSMEs to raise awareness of subsidized LPG utilization,” explained Fajriyah.
Fajriyah added, Pinky Movement is a Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Program which targets MSMEs to be able to improve their economic conditions through the business capital loan program. This program is a form of Pertamina’s sense of responsibility where SER correlates with Pertamina’s corporate business and gives value to multi-stakeholders. The said correlation is a non-subsidized LPG business.
Pertamina, Fajriyah continued, also gives dedicated assistance, support, and training, as well as the facilities for promotion and market development in exhibitions. This is one of the methods of supporting the fostered partners of Pertamina to grow and develop.
“This partnership program is to accelerate Pertamina’s MSMEs partner capabilities with the aims to building strong and independent businesses, as well as giving a multiplier effect to improve social welfare of the society around Pertamina's operational sites,” concluded Fajriyah.**
