Jakarta, June 20, 2021 – Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 event has left a significant potential and remark. This year, the event, which won the MURI record as the largest MSE virtual exhibition by the number of products entered, will be held again. This time, it collaborates with a new government program, the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement (GBBI: Gerakan Bangga Buatan Indonesia).

GBBI itself is a campaign to be proud of using products made in Indonesia. Namely by buying and using products produced by the nation. Especially MSE products whose entire workforce and raw materials take advantage of the abundant potential in Indonesia.

For offline locations, Fajriyah said that currently, it is still in the process of discussion to determine areas that potentially attract many consumers both from within and outside the country.

SMEXPO and GBBI activities will later be held with a regional concept according to the location of the event. These activities must introduce a distinctive culture of dance, craft, accessories. Furthermore, it must also provide space for MSEs to market their products and reach the broadest market. The GBBI campaign must create a sense of pride for all involved.

Besides that, it is also to increase the number of onboarding SMEs in e-commerce from the regions. "Therefore, MSEs in the nearest areas to where the GBBI can be moved so that their business can develop more," she said.
