Jakarta, May 22, 2024 – PT Nusantara Regas held its General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) for the 2023 Financial Year in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/05). The GMS, attended by representatives of the Shareholders, PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk, along with the Board of Commissioners and Directors, reported revenue of USD 81.08 million from LNG regasification services using the Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) in West Java.
In its operational performance, Nusantara Regas distributed 89.54 million MMBTU of gas from 32.45 LNG cargoes for vital power plants in Jakarta and West Java. Nusantara Regas also demonstrated operational reliability with a Plant Availability Factor of 97.37% and Plant Thermal Efficiency of 98.54%. From the initial operations in 2011 until 2023, Nusantara Regas successfully recorded 12,564,153 safe working hours, proving a serious and consistent commitment to HSSE implementation.

For business expansion, NR will be focusing on expanding the company’s steps as a provider of LNG retail gas infrastructure in Indonesia to promote environmentally friendly energy utilization. NR will also integrate its facilities with Pertamina’s Gas Subholding to support energy security for the community.
“We believe LNG is the future of Indonesia's energy, and energy security and availability are non-negotiable. We are confident in playing a significant role, one of which is providing LNG Bunkering and Breakbulking facilities to support Indonesia's energy independence. This adds to our portfolio, as we previously became the first company to operate an FSRU in Southeast Asia,” added Mirza.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina continues to encourage the gas business’ performance as a transitional energy managed by the Gas Sub-holding and all its subsidiaries.
“Nusantara Regas' positive performance as a subsidiary of PGN will strengthen Pertamina's gas business in the energy transition era,” said Fadjar.
In 2023, NR recorded various achievements in Cost Optimization, including the Best Collaboration award with PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental, Cost Optimization in 2022, and the largest Cost Saving within Pertamina’s Gas Subholding. The company also received prestigious awards in HSSE, CSR, Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
