Pertamina Supports “Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN 2024” Program

Jakarta, April 5, 2024 - Pertamina supports the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises' initiative to hold the “Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN 2024” program. The travelers were officially sent off by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, and Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, at Silang Monas, Jakarta, on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Erry Widiastono, Director of Business Support of PT Pertamina (Persero), revealed that Pertamina supports the “Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN” program to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable homecoming journey. These buses are part of the 86 Pertamina homecoming buses, with 85 buses departing on April 3 from Gelora Bung Karno. It demonstrates the solidarity between Pertamina and SOEs in escorting people back to their hometowns.

"Today, we witness Pertamina with SOEs, escorting travelers to their destination cities. Pertamina has also organized a joint homecoming on April 3 by sending off 4000 travelers. And this is the peak. We hope these travelers arrive safely at their hometowns and gather with their families to celebrate Eid. It shows our collaboration within SOEs to serve the community, and we hope all travelers are granted safety," he said.

The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, stated that SOEs encourage safe and comfortable joint homecoming journeys. Considering the importance of safety for travelers, more than 77% of accidents during homecoming are caused by motorcycles, according to data. Hence, the cooperation of these 88 SOEs is expected to continue from year to year.

"These 88 SOEs are facilitating the homecoming of 90,000 travelers to West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Sumatra. I hope this program continues because it is a form of SOEs’ concern to alleviate the obstacles faced by the public, and SOEs are here to fulfill people’s needs," explained Erick Thohir.

One of the travelers, Fitria Darmayanti, expressed her happiness to participate in the homecoming journey with SOEs using Pertamina's services. She found it easy to register, and the bus was comfortable. 

"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy. The bus facilities are comfortable, good, and reliable. I am going to Cirebon with my children and family of four. Alhamdulillah, the registration process is easy. We were given a link, and we registered through it. May Pertamina continue to thrive, succeed, and become even more successful," she concluded.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, added that the number of participants in the “Mudik Asyik Bersama Pertamina 2024” reached 4,000 travelers. This figure increased by 33% compared to 2023, with 3,000 travelers. All travelers received travel insurance from Tugu Insurance, a subsidiary of Pertamina.

"The increase in the number of travelers follows our appreciation for the community who have supported Pertamina all this time. We also urge travelers to take care of their health during the journey. Safe travels. May the journey be smooth and safe until the destination. Warm regards to the families. May this Ramadan be a blessing for all of us," added Fadjar.
