Jakarta, April 27, 2022 - Pertamina group participated in succeeding the Ministry of SOE's free homecoming program "Safe and Healthy Homecoming with SOE 2022". Pertamina provides 40 buses with ten destination routes and 1,600 travelers departing from the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, to the destination city.
This free homecoming program is a collaboration of 25 state-owned enterprises by providing 510 buses and 24 trains that will dispatch approximately 40 thousand travelers. With the flag-off event by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, this program is the answer to the community's enthusiasm for making the Eid homecoming trip in 2022.
Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, said that this homecoming was a form of coordination between SOEs to support the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo's instruction to serve travelers. He hopes that this homecoming activity can run safely and smoothly.
"This is a mandate on how public officials must be able to serve their people well. Hopefully, the homecoming journey is safe and comfortable. Do not forget to take care of the health protocols too. Together we take care of each other," said Erick at the homecoming group release event at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (27/4/2022).
Erick hopes that travelers will maintain safety and be patient while traveling, especially if there is a traffic jam. Erick also advised the drivers to drive safely.
"Hopefully, the traffic jam is not as imagined, but if there is a traffic jam, please be patient, do not be easily provoked. Because the government is coordinating to realize a smooth homecoming flow," said Erick.
"To the driver, I hope that it must be guarded. Do not be a racer. And the most important thing is that security must be maintained," added Erick.
Meanwhile, Business Supporting Director of Pertamina, Dedi Sunardi, who was also present at the event, said that the health and safety of travelers is the most important thing in supporting this event.
For health, Pertamina cooperates with a subsidiary engaged in health services, PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation, commonly abbreviated as Pertamedika IHC, to ensure that Pertamina's homecoming participants have been vaccinated and are in good health, and comply with health protocols. As for vehicles for travelers, Pertamina cooperates with DAMRI to ensure vehicles' safety and feasibility for the travelers' safety until they arrive at the final destination city.
"Pertamina's participation in the 2022 Safe and Healthy Homecoming Program with SOE is a form of Pertamina's #energiuntukistiqomah to provide convenience for people who want to return home comfortably and safely," said Dedi.
Dedi would like to thank all who have helped this event. He advised travelers who will depart to always maintain health protocols during the trip until they arrive at the destination city.
“Pertamina appreciates the 'Safe and Healthy Homecoming with SOE 2022' program to share happiness and blessings with travelers so that they can gather with their relatives in their hometown. Thank you for involving Pertamina. Hopefully, our contribution can provide convenience, comfort, security, and safety for travelers and their families. I hope they arrive safely at the destination," he said.
He also advised the bus crew and drivers to be careful and obey the applicable traffic rules. "I am reminding to obey the applicable rules. The most important thing is to arrive safely at the destination. Hopefully, what has been done becomes a charity of worship for all of us," he said.
As for the Eid al-Fitr homecoming this year, in addition to preparing additional fuel supplies at all petrol stations, Pertamina also provides additional services during the Ramadan Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) Task Force period. It includes standby petrol stations in potential routes (toll lanes, tourist routes, logistics routes) on standby 24 hours of 1,370 petrol stations. Agents and LPG Siaga outlets are also alerted for up to 24 hours, specifically in areas with high demand during Ramadan and Eid of 48 thousand units.
In locations with no petrol stations, Pertamina Siaga Kiosk that provides Pertamax and Dex series of 85 units spread over 47 locations are also prepared. Motorist services, namely delivery services for fuel (Pertamax/Dex series) for consumers in congested locations are also prepared for 339 units. Furthermore, up to 154 units of tank cars have also been prepared as bags/reserves for fuel supply.
"Not only that, but we have also prepared health facilities in collaboration with Pertamedika to provide health checks, including ambulances. We are doing everything to improve services so people are safe and comfortable on their homecoming trips," stated Dedi.**
