Jakarta, July 30, 2021 - Since July 9, 2021, PT Pertamina (Persero) has started the COVID-19 Referral Modular Hospital construction located in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta. It is targeted to operate in August 2021.
Currently, the project is ongoing and has made significant progress of up to 65%. It can be seen with the completion of the installation of sandwich panels, the roof, and the interior of the building, which will become the ICU emergency room. Similarly, the VIP ICU building has been completed with modular installation, roof, and interior.
Meanwhile, other buildings that will be designated as non-ICU emergency rooms and non-ICU rooms are in the sandwich panel, modular, roof, and interior construction stages.
To ensure the construction process runs according to the schedule, the Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of Pertamina, Mulyono, directly inspected the progress of the Tanjung Duren Modular Hospital construction last Wednesday (28/7).
"There is significant development progress. Several facilities have been completed. We hope to start operating in August to treat people with COVID-19 and need intensive care," said Mulyono.
President Director of PT Patra Jasa, Putut Ariwibowo, said that until now, the construction of the hospital is in line with the planned target.
"We continue to work day and night to complete the construction of the Modular Hospital. Therefore, it can be immediately used by the people of Indonesia," said Putut.
President Director of Pertamedika IHC, dr. Fathema DjanRachmat added that the hospital has services for pregnant women, children, or newborns affected by Corona. Therefore, the facilities will be complete compared to the modular hospital in Simpruk.
"It is estimated that around 800 health workers will be employed at the Tanjung Duren modular hospital, including specialist doctors, general practitioners, isolation room nurses, ICU nurses, pharmacists, as well as radiology, technicians, and other health workers," explained dr. Fatema.
Pertamina continues to make maximum efforts to support the Government in handling COVID-19.
Pertamina will place 2 ISO Tanks at the Tanjung Duren Modular Hospital to ensure oxygen need. Currently, it is still in the process of concrete casting as the foundation for tank placement.
"In the future, we hope that with the construction of the Tanjung Duren modular Covid-19 Hospital, we can help the Government overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, patients can be handled properly," said Mulyono.**
