Jakarta, April 3, 2024 - The "Mudik Asyik Bersama Pertamina 2024" program is back. This year, Pertamina dispatched 86 buses from Gelora Bung Karno East Parking Lot, Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Director of Human Resources of Pertamina, Erry Sugiharto, revealed the group homecoming trip has become a routine program for Pertamina. This program is one of Pertamina's appreciation to the community, especially loyal users of Pertamina products so they can have a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable journey home with Pertamina.
"We strive to organize a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable homecoming journey. Today, Pertamina has prepared various facilities that can be utilized for all participants. Starting from lactation rooms for mothers and children, prayer rooms, activity tents for children, men, and women, entertainment, and souvenirs for the travelers during the journey," he said.
All transportation modes or buses are meticulously curated, emphasizing health, safety, and security aspects not only of the vehicles themselves but also of the driver’s health. All drivers operating today have undergone health checks ranging from alcohol testing, blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol checks, and filling out health forms monitored by doctors provided by Pertamina.
"Before departure, all drivers have undergone health checks to ensure a safe and smooth journey.
Pertamina also prepared a medical team consisting of doctors, nurses, ambulances, and medications as Pertamina's commitment to prioritize travelers’ health and safety.
Pertamina provides 4,000 seats to 17 destinations, such as Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cilacap, Banyumas, Tegal, Pemalang, Kebumen, Purworejo, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri, Ngawi, Madiun, Surabaya, and Malang.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, added that the number of participants in the "Mudik Asyik Bersama Pertamina 2024" program reached 4,000 travelers. This figure increased by 33% compared to 2023, which was 3,000. All travelers are provided with travel insurance from Tugu Mandiri Insurance, a subsidiary of Pertamina.
"The increase in participants is in line with our appreciation for the Indonesian community who has supported Pertamina all this time. We also urge travelers to always take care of their health during the journey. Have a safe trip, and may you arrive safely at your destination. Warm regards to the family. May this Ramadan be a blessing for all of us," Fadjar added.
One of the travelers, Wastinah (65 years old), expressed her happiness with the free travel program from Pertamina. This is her second time joining the "Mudik Asyik Bersama Pertamina 2024" program.
"Alhamdulillah, today, I am going to Yogyakarta with my husband, children, and grandchildren. This is the second time I have traveled for free with Pertamina. I like the massage facilities, and I enjoy accompanying my grandchildren to play and color in the play area. I found out about this free travel through Instagram. Thank you, Pertamina. May Pertamina always succeed, keep moving forward, and hopefully, there will be even more next year," she concluded.
