PHE Provides Assistance to Residents Affected by the Plumpang Depot Incident

Jakarta, March 9, 2023 - PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), as Subholding Upstream, has contributed to helping residents affected by the incident that occurred at the Plumpang Fuel Terminal, Jakarta, one of which is through distributing assistance to the community and the team deployed to help at the Pertamina Peduli post.

"As part of PT Pertamina (Persero), we are concerned and deeply grieve for the people affected by this incident," explained Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of PHE, at the Rasela Child-Friendly Integrated Home (RPTRA), North Jakarta, during the handover of aid, Sunday (5/3).

Assistance provided by Pertamina Upstream Subholdings with all Regional and Affiliated Subsidiaries includes groceries and food, processed and ready-to-eat food, baby biscuits, milk, and equipment needed by residents in evacuation tents, such as folding mattresses and clothes. To this day, Pertamina's Upstream Subholding continues to distribute assistance to affected residents.

Apart from assisting affected residents, Subholding Upstream Pertamina also places officers at evacuation sites to provide activities to entertain residents, especially children.

"We hope the Pertamina Upstream Subholding officers at this location will provide benefits and help both the community and help the Pertamina Peduli team, which has been carrying out humanitarian activities," concluded Arya.
