Present in 19 Provinces, Pertamina Pertashop Ready to Serve Village Communities

Jakarta, August 8, 2020 - PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to carry out the Pertamina Shop (Pertashop) development program in Indonesia. As of August 2020, Pertashop mini outlets are present in 19 Provinces with 147 distribution points.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, explained that after entering the new normal era, Pertamina has again intensified the construction of Pertashop in several areas. Pertashop is a small-scale Pertamina distributor, in which they fulfill the fuel needs of the consumers who are not/ have not been served by other official Pertamina distribution agencies such as gas stations. Apart from BBM, Pertashop also provides other top Pertamina products such as LPG Bright Gas and Lubricants.

Fajriyah explained that currently, the construction of Pertashop in Java and Bali had reached 110 distributors, while 37 distributors are operating outside of Java. There were 88 outlets in July 2020, while in the first week of August, there were 147 distributors, showing a significant development of the outlets.

"Pertamina continues to expand the community's reach to BBM and LPG by building Pertashop. Now the operational Pertashop is ready to serve people in villages by offering them various Pertamina products with guaranteed quality, the right amount, and the same price as at gas stations," she said Fajriyah Usman.

Fajriyah added that the construction of Pertashop will continue until it has reached all sub-districts that do not yet have BBM and LPG distribution agencies. Pertamina will prioritize village institutions and MSMEs businesses to manage the Pertashop, in line with the Pertamina One Village One Outlet Program, so that later the local government can have a new economic center. "With the support of the Government and all stakeholders, Pertamina hopes that the Pertashop program can complement the success of the One Price Fuel Program which is currently being enjoyed by people in the 3T area," concluded Fajriyah. **
