President Director of Pertamina Directly Monitors Readiness of Pertamina's Ramadan Eid Task Force in West Java

Bandung, April 5, 2024 - The President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) conducted a working visit to several facilities of the Ramadan Eid Task Force (RAFI) 2024 in the West Java region. Pertamina ensures the readiness of fuel, gas, and avtur in anticipation of the upcoming peak homecoming period. In addition to energy sufficiency, Pertamina also ensures fuel’s volume and quality, as well as facilities (sarfas), are in good condition.

The visit was also attended by the Acting Main Commissioner of Pertamina, Iggi H. Achsien, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, and Executive General Manager of the West Java Region, Deny Djukardi, to five sarfas points, namely petrol station on Soekarno Hatta and Padalarang street in Bandung, Pertamina Contact Center 135 office, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, and Halim Perdana Kusuma Aircraft Refueling Depot (DPPU), Jakarta. The visit took place on Friday, April 5, 2024.

President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, stated that the West Java region, which includes Banten Province, the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, and West Java, is one of the focal points for the homecoming flow following the high number of travelers from these areas. Therefore, Pertamina needs to ensure that sarfas along these routes are ready to serve millions of people traveling to various regions in Indonesia.

"This morning, we checked Pertamina's readiness in preparing fuel for travelers, as the homecoming flow is expected to occur from this afternoon until the next few days. In addition to checking the supply readiness to ensure its sufficiency in fulfilling the increased demand for homecoming, we also ensure the measuring instruments for fuel and their quality, which are good," said Nicke during her visit to the 34.402.02 petrol station on Soekarno Hatta street, Bandung.

At the petrol station, Nicke conducted comprehensive monitoring ranging from petrol station operations and quality control of fuel’s volume and quality, such as terra testing, to checking tank trucks and storage tanks.

"We ensure there is no water contamination in the tank truck's fuel load to provide trust to the public that Pertamina conducts checks before transferring fuel from tank trucks to storage tanks located at petrol stations," she explained.

Nicke urged the public to contact Pertamina Contact Center 135 (PCC 135) if they encounter indications of fuel quality and volume discrepancies. It was also reiterated when Pertamina Management visited the PCC 135 office in Bandung. PCC 135 serves as the frontline for public complaints as well as the official source of information on the company’s products and services.

To ensure Pertamina’s services for travelers using air transport, readiness inspections of sarfas were also conducted at the Halim Perdana Kusuma Aircraft Refueling Depot (DPPU) in  Jakarta. During the visit, Nicke ensured Avtur’s safe and smooth distribution.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, added that Pe’tamina's RAFI Task Force 2024 has been operational from March 25 until April 21. In addition to maintaining sufficient energy stocks, during the April 1-21 period, Pertamina will provide additional services in the homecoming route areas, flood-prone areas, and disaster-prone areas.

"All’of Pertamina's operations during the Eid holiday will be intensively monitored so that Pertamina can ensure that fuel, LPG, and avtur are fulfilling the public’s needs," he explained.

Nationally, Pertamina has operated sarfas, including 115 Fuel Terminals, 30 LPG Terminals, and 71 Aircraft Refueling Depots (DPPU). Furthermore, over 7,400 petrol stations, 723 LPG Filling Stations (SPBE), and 48,207 LPG Agents/Outlets have distributed energy to the public.

To anticipate the increase in energy consumption ahead of the long Eid al-Fitr holiday of 1445 H, Pertamina has prepared additional sarfas, including 1,792 24-Hour Standby Petrol Stations, 5,027 24-Hour Standby LPG Agents, 200 Standby Tank Trucks, 61 Pertamina Standby Kiosks, 54 Motorists, and 281 Pertamina Delivery Services.
