President Director of Pertamina Visits Evacuation Camps to Ensure Comprehensive Handling for Affected Residents

Indramayu, April 4, 2021 - As a concern for the residents affected by the T-301 tank incident, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati visited residents at the Bumi Patra Sports Center (GOR) evacuation camp, Pertamina Balongan Complex, Indramayu, West Java on Saturday (3/4/2021).

Nicke directly saw the post-traumatic healing activities by Pertamina's millennial employees through the Pertamina Peduli program.

Nicke chatted and greeted the residents and volunteers. She motivated them to be patient and keep a good spirit because Pertamina is working to immediately return residents to their homes.

Nicke communicated with officers at the information center and checked the Balongan tank incident's refugee data, which is continuously updated by Pertamina's team.

To residents who also volunteered, Nicke said, "Thank you. We are collecting data of houses so that people can return to their homes immediately."

They were also asked to invite other residents to participate in the efforts to restore both residential and worship houses affected by the Balongan refinery incident. Therefore, it can be finished quickly.

"We also prioritize worship houses because Ramadan is near. We hope that people can return home soon. We are all doing our best people can pray in worship houses during this Ramadhan," concluded Nicke.
