President Director of Pertamina : We Are standing by the Victim’s Family side

Balikpapan – President Director of Pertamina Massa Manik visited the family of the Balikpapan Bay oil spill victims in in Ilir Baru Village (12/4).

Massa Manik expressed his condolences and strong concerns for the late Imam’s family.

“Humbly, we want to directly express our concerns and responsibility to the victim’s family,” he said.

The late Imam is one of five dead victims of the oil spill in Balikpapan Bay on Saturday, March 31st, 2018.

As a form of concern and humanity, Pertamina compensated the victim’s family with an employment opportunities. Pertamina also providing corporate social responsibility (CSR) package consist of education and health insurance, and working capital as an economical support.

“To this day, the investigation of oil spill incidents in Balikpapan Bay are on progress. But we do our best to provide assistance and compensation to the community, especially the victims' families through CSR packages and employment opportunities for the families of the victims," he said with concern.
