Ambon, December 15, 2021 – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and BPH Migas inaugurated nine new fuel distribution points through theOne Price Fuel program.
The inauguration was held at the Integrated Terminal Wayame yard, Teluk Ambon District, Ambon City, Tuesday (14/12/2021), with a ribbon-cutting by Deputy Governor of Maluku, Barnabas Orno, Executive General Manager of Papua Maluku Region, Yoyok Wahyu Maniadi, and members of the BPH Migas Committee, Basuki Trikora Putra and Yapit Sapta Putra.
The Deputy Governor of Maluku, Barnabas Nathaniel Orno, said that the inauguration of the One Price Fuel Program answered the problems faced by society today. In particular, in terms of the distribution of fuel prices in the Frontier, Outermost, and Remote or 3T areas.
"One Price Fuel is the answer to the problems in Maluku," said Orno.
The one-price fuel policy is a Government program to create equitable access to fuel throughout Indonesia. It implements the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) and realizes the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. Special Assignments (JBKP) nationally since January 1, 2017.
For this reason, it is necessary to carry out supervision in its implementation. Therefore, there is no price inequality for the community.
"I believe Pertamina and BPH will carry out this supervision. If there is news in the media, it is immediately followed up on the field. If people in the village complain, it is true," said the Deputy Governor.
Meanwhile, the BPH Migas Committee, Yapit Sapta Putra, said Pertamina always maintains its commitment to support the Government's program to realize the 5th principle of Pancasila, namely social justice for all Indonesian people.
It is indicated by the operation of 78 points of One Price Fuel distribution agency across Indonesia.
Yoyok Wahyu Maniadi said, "In the eastern part of Indonesia in particular, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, and West Papua, 18 distribution points are operating in 2021,"
Three are in the East Seram Regency, West Seram Regency, and Southwest Maluku Regency.
Nationally, Pertamina has realized the operation of 321 One Price Fuel distribution agencies in Frontier, Outermost, and Remote (3T) areas.
Of the total 109 petrol stations operating in the Papua-Maluku Region, 45 of them have been in the Maluku Retail Sales Area since 2016.
"Especially this year, the challenges are more different due to the COVID-19 pandemic conditions which limit the mobilization and construction of One Price Fuel station. With this petrol station, now people can buy subsidized fuel at the same price as people in other areas such as in Java, Sumatra and other places following Presidential Decree 191 of 2014," said Yoyok.
Yapit Sapta Putra said that the party in charge of regulating, supervising, and delivering national fuel has also requested cooperation from the local Government and stakeholders in overseeing the program's progress. That way, all people can enjoy this subsidized fuel equally, especially in Maluku.
"BPH does not have representatives in the province. We are only in Jakarta, with limited personnel with a wide range. We hope BPH can join hands at the central and regional government levels related to supervision," he concluded.
The fulfillment of One Price Fuel is Pertamina's commitment to providing equitable access to energy for all people.**
