Jakarta, August 29, 2021 - PT Pertamina (Persero), through Rumah BUMN (RB), continues to show a positive record in assisting its fostered partners. Starting from MSEs that have listed products in the marketplace, business clinics, and various other activities. All of them are expected to encourage foster partners to become upgraded MSEs.
Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, explained that all RBs spread across 30 locations in Indonesia had independently carried out the coaching function. "That way, RB can focus on developing its fostered partners' potential to become upgraded MSEs," she said.
As a result, continued Fajriyah, until the second quarter of 2021, a total of 303 MSEs were recorded to have entered their products in several marketplaces. It means that the fostered partners have become upgraded MSEs and become Go Digital and Go Online. "After they are listed on the marketplace, the next assistance is their management to reach many buyers," she added.
In addition, for approximately 6 (six) months, RB Pertamina has held 41 Business Clinics held virtually. This effort attracted many fostered partners. Around 1,400 participants participated in all the business clinic activities. Each of these regularly scheduled sessions covered a variety of topics related to business development materials.
The assistance that each RB provides also yields excellent results. As many as 251 fostered MSEs are declared upgraded after receiving several certifications and permits. "These documents will make it easier for the fostered to become Go Global MSEs in the future," added Fajriyah.
Rumah BUMN Pertamina's had successfully held exhibitions in each RB. Both held virtual and in-person exhibitions. The total sales from the exhibition reached IDR 126 million. "Not to mention the addition of further transactions outside the exhibition. This event can be a medium to introduce MSEs products to the general public," she said.
One of RB's fostered partners is Sri Mujiatim. The owner of the Batik Cempaka MSE, under RB Mojokerto's guidance, conveyed that she received many benefits after being guided by RB Pertamina, such as getting several trainings that can support business development. "I applied a lot of inputs and tips from each training. I hope my business can grow even more," she said.
According to Fajriyah, through the MSE Funding Program, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy--energy that fuels and energy that produces sustainable growth.
Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) achievements through implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all of its operational areas. It is part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility to realize economic benefits in the community.**
