Cilacap, April 21, 2022 - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga appreciates the Cilacap Resort Police (Polres) for successfully uncovering allegations of transportation and/or trading of subsidized diesel fuel misuse.
Communication, Relations, & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Area Manager for the Central Java Region of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Brasto Galih Nugroho, in a press statement (19/4), appreciates and supports the efforts carried out by the Cilacap Police.
"We express our gratitude and highest appreciation to the police, in this case, the Cilacap Police, for revealing crimes by irresponsible persons of transportation and/or trading fuel misuse, especially those which are subsidized Solar products from the government for the community," Brasto said.
According to him, this success has helped and supported Pertamina in carrying out subsidized fuel distribution assignments in a targeted manner, as well as protecting subsidy recipient community rights.
"This crime is certainly very detrimental to the state and society, especially the recipients of the rights to subsidized diesel fuel products, such as public transportation, farmers, fishermen, and other vulnerable community groups," he said.
Brasto said that Pertamina, as a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) as well as a National Vital Object (Obvitnas), has collaborated with the Republic of Indonesia Police (Polri) of securing Pertamina's business processes related to the interests of the general public, in this case, energy fulfillment.
"We hope that the synergy between Pertamina and the National Police that has been going well can be maintained and improved. Therefore, energy needs fulfillment for Indonesian people is not disrupted," said Brasto.
He also appealed to the public to be wise in using subsidized products, in this case, diesel fuel, referring to the regulations set by the government.
“The target for subsidized fuel users has been regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 191 of 2014 concerning the Supply, Distribution, and Retail Selling Price of Fuel Oil. In addition, there is also a Decree of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) No. 04/P3JBT/BPH Migas/Kom/2020 concerning Control of Distribution of Certain Types of Fuel by Business Entities Implementing Assignments to Consumers Using Motorized Vehicle Transportation for People or Goods Transportation," explained Brasto.
Meanwhile, if the public finds allegations or indications of subsidized fuel products misuse, Brasto said they could immediately report them to the local police.
Furthermore, Brasto explained that Pertamina distributes Solar products with subsidies through petrol stations and sells Solar products for the industrial category at competitive prices for industry players, which can be accessed by contacting the Pertamina Call Center at 135.
"People and consumers who need information about Pertamina's products and services, or other complaints, can take advantage of the Pertamina Call Center service at 135 or through the MyPertamina application and www.pertamina.com," stated Brasto.
Solar Stock in Cilacap is Sufficient
Brasto explained that Pertamina has 2 Fuel Terminals that distribute fuel, especially diesel products, in Cilacap Regency, including the Maos Fuel Terminal and the Cilacap Fuel Terminal. He emphasized that Solar products stock at the two Fuel Terminals is sufficient.
"The Solar products stock at the two Fuel Terminals in Cilacap reaches ten days, so people do not have to worry about the need for Solar products," he concluded.**
