Mojokerto, June 21, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero), through the Rumah BUMN (RB), has assisted 2 MSEs under its guidance to export. The products under the Mojokerto RB were symbolically released by the Regent of Mojokerto, Ikfina Fahmawati, Thursday (27/5). This export effort adds to the list of Pertamina's fostered partners who have been promoted to Go Global MSE.
Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that this activity shows one of the moments when MSEs rose from the impact of the pandemic. "Especially in terms of product marketing, with these exports, the fostered partners can prove they can rise and expand the market," she said.
The two MSEs assisted by RB Pertamina that participated in the export of furniture products to South Korea were UD. CITRA MULYA, a supplier of handles from cast brass and UD. TIGA PUTRI, a supplier of frame materials at PT Wangsa Adi Guna (an exporter engaged in general contractors and furniture).
The majority of MSE products sent were dressing tables, drawers, and various other furniture products. In total, there are about 400 units of products with unit prices ranging from IDR 1.6 million. Thus, the value of the exported goods reached around IDR 640 million.
Deni, one of the mentors of RB Mojokerto, owner of Cor Kuningan MSE, admitted that he is happy with the opportunity to export his products. "Alhamdulillah, this export activity is a new experience for us. Usually, we can only sell offline (when there is a certain event). Especially during the pandemic, the sales have declined. Through this, we can continue to carry out sustainable production," he said.
Meanwhile, Suwono, Kusen Tiga Putri MSE owner, is also happy to sell his products overseas. He also uses this achievement to continuously improve the quality standards and quality of the products he produces. "Hopefully in the future, we can continue to export products abroad and develop to other countries," he said.
Regent of Mojokerto, Ikfina Fahmawati expressed her joy regarding the exports by the Mojokerto RB mentor. "This is good news as well as an opportunity for MSEs in Mojokerto Regency. It turns out that our items are marketable in other countries. Especially in the current condition of the pandemic, in which all sectors are still trying to recover," said Ikfina.
Fajriyah added that these two MSEs are part of 30 Pertamina RBs. Throughout Indonesia, there are more than 8600 MSEs fostered. With the Rumah BUMN, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy--energy that fuels and energy that produces sustainable growth.
Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) point 8 achievements through implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all of its operational areas. It is part of the environmental and social responsibility to realize economic benefits in the community.**
