Salted Hairtail Fish Floss Products is Proud to Upgrade with Pertamina SMEXPO

Jakarta, September 22,  2021 – Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 has left many positive impressions for Pertamina's MSME Partners. One of them is felt by Amiroh, Pertamina's partner SMEs engaged in salted hairtail fish floss production.

"Pertamina SMEXPO has a magical value, extraordinary," said Amiroh.

Amiroh's statement is not just a figment. Amiroh admits the marketing of her products did not go as she expected.

"Sales tend to be calm, even declining due to the impact of Covid-19," she said.

However, by participating in Pertamina SMEXPO 2020, Amiroh felt a significant and happy change in her business.

"As soon as I passed SMEXPO, the marketing and selling value of my products immediately skyrocketed," said Amiroh.

It makes her confident to tell and pursue the business of salted hairtail fish floss.

Amiroh also stated that no motivator could match the spirit she gained after attending the Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 event.

"Frankly, it brings tremendous confidence," she said.

She could not talk at length about her knowledge and how she felt during SMEXPO. However, Amiroh often tells the story of her products development after joining Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 to resellers from within and outside the city.

Amiroh did not hesitate to rejoin Pertamina SMEXPO 2021, which will be held in October 2021. She expressed her pride in SMEXPO 2021 again.

According to Fajriyah, Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 is one of Pertamina's ways to support the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement (GBBI) initiated by President Joko Widodo.

"GBBI is a national communal work movement from MSMEs for Indonesian MSMEs. Pertamina SMEXPO supports GBBI because it has the same passion for the advancement of Indonesian MSMEs," said Fajriyah.

Fajriyah added, Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 is implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 8 to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and productive workforce. It is expected to help people get decent jobs and encourage national economic growth.

Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 is also part of Pertamina's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program to improve the community's economy following the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework implemented by Pertamina in all business lines and areas of company operations.
