Jakarta, June 8, 2021 – Satria Muda Pertamina won the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) Pertamax 2021 after defeating Pelita Jaya Bakrie in the final match with a score of 60-68. Satria Muda Pertamina's victory in the 2021 season is the 11th title for Satria Muda Pertamina.
Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said Satria Muda and Pertamina have cooperated since 2016 and the team continues to show achievements. Since 2018, Satria Muda Pertamina has won consecutive seasons for four years until 2021.

Satria Muda Pertamina outperformed Pelita Jaya Bakrie through a solid game in the second half of the match.
This title is also the inaugural title for Milos Pejic, the coach of Satria Muda Pertamina from Serbia. In addition to the championship title, Satria Muda Pertamina's point guard, Hardianus, also brought the individual MVP Final title because of his consistent and impressive play during the final series of matches.
After the final, the players will take a short break before starting preparations for the 2022 season. Some players will immediately join the Indonesian national team for a training camp ahead of the 2021 Asian Cup qualification.
