Shareholders Assign Pertamina's New Commissioners and Directors

Jakarta, February 5, 2021 - The government through the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) held the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT Pertamina (Persero) to change the composition of the members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Pertamina (Persero). Pahala Nugraha Mansyuri was appointed as Deputy President Commissioner on February 3, 2021, and M. Erry Sugiharto was entrusted with the Director of Human Resources (HR) starting February 5, 2021.

The change in the members of Pertamina's Board of Commissioners is contained in the Copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number SK-38 / MBU / 02/2021 dated February 3, 2021, concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina. The decision also confirmed the honorable discharge of Budi Gunadi Sadikin from his post as Deputy President Commissioner of Pertamina as of December 23, 2020, in line with his appointment as Minister of Health by President Joko Widodo.

The new Board of Directors is contained in a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number SK-42/MBU/02/2021 dated February 5, 2021, concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Directors of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina. The decision also states Koeshartanto's respectful dismissal from the HR Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) position, which he has held since August 29, 2018.

Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto, explained that the appointment and dismissal of members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors are carried out through the GMS is one of the Shareholders' authorities.

"With the new composition of the board of commissioners and directors, Pertamina's management is ready to fulfill the aspirations of shareholders and the new challenges facing the energy transition era," said Agus.

The figure of Pahala Nugraha Mansyuri is not new to this Oil and Gas SOE, considering that he previously served as Finance Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) from September 2018 to November 2019.

Meanwhile, M. Erry Sugiharto who was appointed as Director of Human Resources at PT Pertamina (Persero) previously served as Director of Human Capital & Legal of PT Hutama Karya (Persero). Erry Began his career at PT Hutama Karya in 1999 until he was appointed to fill the position of Director in June 2020.

The man who was born in Kulonprogo, on March 25, 1974, completed his undergraduate study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universitas Islam Indonesia and subsequently post-graduate at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gajah Mada.**
