Sharing Ramadan Blessings, Partagas Provides Aid to 1,326 Orphans and Underprivileged Individuals Across Indonesia

Jakarta, April 8, 2024 - As a manifestation of the company's concern for vulnerable communities around its operational areas, PT Pertamina Gas, as an affiliate of Pertamina Gas Sub Holding, enlivens the 1445 H Ramadan Month by providing aid to orphaned and impoverished individuals throughout Indonesia.

The aid was symbolically handed over by Pertagas’ commissioners and directors to 43 orphanage representatives as part of the Ramadan Safari 1445 H in its eight operational areas. The distribution of aid was continued by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, which visited communities directly in 19 cities/districts throughout Indonesia gradually during Ramadan.

"The provision of aid during this holy month of Ramadan is a routine agenda carried out annually. In 2024, we provided aid worth 234 million Rupiah to orphanages, Islamic boarding schools, and places of worship in the vicinity of our operational areas, benefiting 1,326 vulnerable individuals," added Muhammad Baron, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Gas, in a separate statement.

As part of the series of activities for Ramadan Safari 1445 H, the Commissioners, Directors, and Management of Pertamina Gas also conducted Management Walkthroughs in its eight operational areas to review the reliability of operational facilities to ensure energy needs fulfillment across all sectors leading up to the upcoming Eid al-Fitr of 1445 H.

President Director of Pertamina Gas, Gamal Imam Santoso, in his remarks at the Ramadan Safari 1445 H agenda, expressed that providing aid is a manifestation of the company's gratitude for achieving optimal operational performance, thus being able to provide benefits to the community.

"Pertamina Gas currently has experience in managing and operating more than 77 segments & 3,339 kilometers of oil and natural gas pipelines to meet energy needs across Indonesia. We are grateful for this achievement, so in this auspicious moment, Pertamina Gas can share blessings and strengthen community ties," he added.
