"Well drilling early this year was carried out as an acceleration effort, so it is hoped that Pertamina can contribute optimally in efforts to maintain the national oil and gas production level," said Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (Subholding Upstream Pertamina).

Furthermore, Arya emphasized that the implementation of drilling wells in the new year of this year is also a form of Pertamina's commitment to continue making efforts without a pause in increasing oil and gas production.

On New Year's Eve, Pertamina together with SKK Migas also ensured that oil and gas lifting activities at terminals and delivery points for all work areas could run smoothly so that oil and gas lifting in 2021 could be achieved maximally.

As of November 2021, Pertamina's Upstream Subholding oil and gas production reached 887 MBOEPD consisting of 437 MBOPD of oil and 2,608 MMSCFD of gas. This result is oil and gas production from all Pertamina Upstream Subholding work areas including those from abroad. Meanwhile, domestic production alone reached 340 MBOPD of oil and 2,290 MMSCFD of gas.

"We will continue to make efforts in increasing production to contribute optimally in supporting efforts to achieve the national production target of 1 million BOPD and 12 BSCFD in 2030 and carry out operational activities while prioritizing work safety and operating activities that support efforts to reduce emissions towards Net Zero Emission in 2060," he stated.**
