Strengthening MSME Digital Literacy, Pertamina Supports the #MajuBarengTikTok Program

Jakarta, June 4, 2021 – As an effort to strengthen digital literacy, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, Pertamina supports MSMEs to remain adaptive by utilizing digital technology to the fullest, especially in expanding product marketing.

One of the efforts to strengthen MSME digital literacy is to support the free education program #MajuBarengTiktok. Pertamina joins as a resource at the Digital Marketing Strategy session held virtually on Thursday (3/6). VP CSR SMEPP Management of PT Pertamina (Persero), Arya Dwi Paramita and Digital Business Coach and Mentor MicroMentor Indonesia Warhol Interactive Agency, Husin Wijaya give their presentations during the event.

VP CSR & SMEPP Management of PT Pertamina (Persero), Arya Dwi Paramita, said that digital literacy is beneficial for business actors and the country. "Pertamina, through the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) Funding Program, focuses on increasing digital literacy through the UMK Academy coaching program by carrying out the Go Digital and Go Online curriculum," said Arya.

Arya also added that Pertamina has an e-learning platform that can be accessed by all Pertamina's fostered MSEs through www.learningumkm-pertamina.com. In this platform, all Pertamina's fostered MSEs can easily access knowledge related to entrepreneurship for free.

Husin Wijaya, Digital Business Coach and Mentor MicroMentor at Warhol Interactive Agency, agrees that digital literacy will make it easier for MSME to reach its target market. They can do this with 4C social selling (content, customers, relationships, community). "Interesting content through social media can make someone see the marketed product. Where the content contains our goal, namely marketing the product," said Husin.

Aminah An, Alminana Aneka Bumbu owner, was one of Pertamina's fostered partners who saw changes after transforming traditional marketing strategies into Go Digital. The sale of Aneka Bumbu can provide a turnover of close to IDR 50 million every month.

Meanwhile, Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman said, through the MSE Funding Program, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can drive the economy--energy that fuels, and energy that produces sustainable growth.

Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) achievement through implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all of its operational areas. It is part of the environmental and social responsibility to realize economic benefits for the community.**
