Strengthening Transparency, Public Access to the Realization of Assigned Fuel on Pertamina's Website
Jakarta, October 17, 2020 – PT Pertamina (Persero) has recorded as of September 2020, the total volume of Solar type fuel distributed has reached 67,5% of the quota set in 2020 or 10.18 million Kiloliter (KL). Meanwhile, the Premium Assignment Fuel distributed throughout 2020 has reached as much as 7.81 million KL or 65.2% of the 2020 quota. As for Subsidized LPG, the volume distributed is 5.3 million metric tons. This information can be accessed on Pertamina's website, www.pertamina.com, as part of Pertamina's efforts to strengthen transparency.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, explained that to increase openness and transparency to the public, Pertamina regularly delivers information to the public regarding the volume of assigned fuel distribution subsidized LPG through various communication channels, including Pertamina's official website.
"Our information is updated periodically through the website. Therefore, that the public and interested stakeholders can monitor the availability of Fuel and LPG that utilize APBN funds paid to Pertamina through a subsidy scheme and assignment compensation, as well as to ensure the volume of realization is maintained according to the quota set by the Government," she said.
Fajriyah added, in addition to conveying information on the distribution of assignment fuel and subsidized LPG, Pertamina also regularly announces procurement data on the company's official website. From February - October 2020, website visitors who accessed this information reached 78 thousand viewers.
According to her, as a state-owned enterprise that applies the principles of Good Corporate Government (GCG), Pertamina provides information and what is needed by the public, especially potential partners interested in the procurement process, including General Procurement, Crude and Product Procurement, and Shipping Procurement.
"Publication of procurement processes and data through the website, both at the head office and in the region, is a form of New Pertamina Clean's commitment and is in line with the President Commissioner's direction of Pertamina to open information as widely as possible to the public.
