Strives to Increase Productivity, Pertamina's Upstream Subholding Signs 8 Agreements at the 2nd International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas 2021

Bali, December 1, 2021 - Pertamina's Upstream Subholding is increasingly committed to the national energy fulfilling by signing 4 cooperation agreements at the 2nd International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas 2021 in Bali, 29 November - 2 December 2021.

"The cooperation agreement and commitment that we signed today is in the context of strengthening Pertamina's Upstream Subholding business line. Certainly, by the signing of the agreement document will further strengthen Pertamina'sUpstream Subholding steps in meeting the national target of Oil and Gas Production," said Budiman Parhusip, President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi as the CEO of Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, Wednesday (01/12).

Furthermore, Budiman explained that the 4 agreements signed included the signing of the Head of Agreement between PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Nunukan and PT Karya Mineral Jaya - PT Kilang Pertamina International related to bridging the parties in the preparation and the signing of the Gas Sales Agreement (PJBG) for Nunukan working area.

"And then the signing of the Gas Sales Agreement between PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Jambi Merang and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara - PT Pertamina Gas - PT Pertagas Niaga, related to the gas sales agreement to meet commercial, industrial and electricity needs in Sumatera, Java, and Batam, as well as oil production, needs," he said.

On this occasion, the signing of the Letter of Agreement for Implementation of Natural Gas Price Adjustment between PT Pertamina EP and PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek and the signing of the Side Letter of Agreement for Implementation of Natural Gas Price Adjustment between PT Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ and PT PLN (Persero) was carried out as well.

Moreover, the signing of the cooperation agreement in the Pertamina's Upstream Subholding environment was also carried out virtually, there were 4 (four) agreement signings, including three agreements in the Java Region including LoA Kepmen135/2021 Pertamina EP - PLN, LoA Kepmen 134/2021 PHE ONWJ - Pupuk Kujang, and the LoA Kepmen 135/2021 PHE OSES – PLN, and the signing of the Second Amendment Of Side Letter Among PHE WMO – Pertamina EP Kodeco MMB-PLN cooperation.
