Successfully Extinguishing the Third Tank, Pertamina Focuses on The Last One

Jakarta, March 31, 2021 - Intensive fire fighting efforts by the Pertamina Emergency Team to handle the T-301 tank area incident have obtained positive results. After extinguishing two tanks this morning, PT Pertamina (Persero) has successfully extinguished the fire in the T-301G tank at around 08.30 WIB.

"We have got positive news. The T-301G tank has been extinguished. The emergency team in the field will continue to extinguish the fire in the T301-F tank," said Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto.

The fire extinguishing scenario in the T-301F tank, continued Agus, will be carried on. Currently, the emergency team is setting up the fire fighting equipment.

"It is expected that all fire in the T-301 tank area can be extinguished today. We are continuing to cool down the three tanks that have been extinguished and ensure there is no potential for fire to re-emerge. We ask for prayers from all Indonesians," Agus concluded.
